English 10B

English 10B focuses on short persuasive texts from the Springboard workbook, then on the amazing novel, Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury. An important part of the grade involves "study skills" such as annotation of the readings and keeping a notebook. Other assignments include weekly tests, essays and in-class work. Everything we do builds literacy and college-readiness, in one way or another.
