  • Kline Scholarship-The Kline Scholarship for the Class of 2024 is available for seniors to apply. Deadline February 27th, 2024 by 3:30 pm. Submit a typed application to Mrs. Otero in the College Center

     

    In order to apply to this scholarship you must live on the college campus or college apartments and plan on attending a college outside of the LA area. The University must be a minimum of 100 miles away from Polytechnic HS. Additional requirements are listed below and on the application.     Requirements:

    • 2.5 GPA

    • Completed application

    • Two letters of recommendation

    • Transcript (Unofficial)

    • Personal insight essay
 
  • Yang-Benjamin Family Scholarship - Deadline April 4th, 2022 by 3:30 pm. Submit the application to Ms. Delgado in the College Center. Only Poly students can apply for Yang-Benjamin Family Scholarship. Must be a current senior at Poly. Available to students who will be attending community college or four year universities. Apply by filling out the application on the Poly Scholarship page labeled “Yang-Benjamin Family Scholarship-Polytechnic High School” See application and requirements above.

     

     

     

  • Andres y Maria Cardenas Family Foundation Scholarship - Deadline: March 17, 2023

    • The HSF Scholar Program: Application Deadline Is February 15, 2023. To get started, visit netand log into or create your myHSF profile to access the HSF Scholar Program Application

    Eligibility:

    • Must be of Hispanic heritage
    • U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA
    • Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
    • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the U.S., for the 2023-2024 academic year
    • Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)
 
  • Hunter Garner Scholarship ($2,000):


    Here's what we're looking for: A video, billboard design or radio spot created to motivate, persuade and encourage your peers to not drive distracted. You have a unique opportunity to play a key role in spreading this important message. You can speak to your peers on this subject in a way that adults cannot. The more lives you can impact, the more lives you can you save.

    • Junior or senior between 14-20
    • Parent eligibility form (if under 18)
 
  • CIF Scholar Athlete of the Year ($5,000): 500 word essay on how you meet the Six Pillars of Character
    • Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship
    • Minimum Unweighted GPA of 3.5
    • Two years of Varsity play within California (must have played senior year
  • Stossel in the Classroom Income Inequality Essay Contest ($2,500):

    • Essay
    • Students aged 10-18 
    • Residing in North America or Hawaii
  • Dr. Lawrence H. Moore Human Relations Scholarship ($2,000):

    • LAUSD Senior with 3.0+
    • 2 letters of recommendation 
    • A personal essay
    • Interview
