everybody 1 + 1 + 10 it's game on let's go season it's time for you to take advantage of the access in the Wii that you have in your country in your community you got a problem with your life you got a problem with your environment do something about it if you want it go get it recognize this is your chance this is your shot this is your moment this is your time this is your place this is your opportunity it's so true it won't stay on that foot look up iPad to the new season of Nepali 10 I'm Julian and warehouse for this month episode I am slowly and I think music is my first year teaching I like to jam and play music with friends I'm Mr Wong and I'm teaching physics and play their High School visits procedure to become a u.s. visitation is quite different to work as a teacher in different countries and when I was in China with focus a lot on the direct instruction Atlanta to say teachers always give lecture to students and then just stay there and listen to We spent a lot of time so I think it's wrong for experience for me and I will try to balance between lecture and discussion Sakina first name Anna and I teach math teach at Panorama it's been good in a lot of help from teachers but it's you I'm still adapting to everything I miss and ceramic this is my fifth year teaching feel like probably have a real sense of community I've got that from teachers administrators and then with the students as well it just really feels closed I expect them to be able to eventually solve their own problems with their ceramic work and not need so much Hands-On help time goes on I found to be able to remove those problems on their own I hope that they can have a wonderful life in high school and all of them can go to the dream school during college I can't believe it me to the polygon there's so many memories here I just hope this construction will be worth it let's go check in with Sophia and see what we have in store for Polly the construction is happening now because it went through a long bed process where I along with other administrators sat with the contractors and Architects and decide on the best one for our school so it went through a process that got approved by the board and here we are starting construction summer of 2019 is going to last until 2023 that's the year 2023 how do you feel about the construction happening around the school is that it's too crowded and we can experience score I don't like what's going on with the construction cuz it makes people lay like me as a senior I already have for parties and to the tensions so as not good construction such as is how were those problems being address affected because the courts are not there anymore so all of our home games are being played at Agway locations and then for practice we got some portable tennis Nets and chords and we're using the old freshman center that we used to have across the street next to Byrd Middle School to ask him when the polygon will be reopened do you know when that will be so hopefully by the end of November after we come back from vacation from Thanksgiving break it it should be open should be ready I'm pleased to help the kids not be distracted in class do to annoy the locations where they're working their butts and blankets to to block the sound a little bit and then were very conscious of 52 hour ask him to stop working and drain destruction and hours to not be very noisy tell me all the students and teachers to let us know if there's too much distraction or noise in their classes do you think that would make it look good cuz it looks like modern and more like college type so I feel like for the future soon Herbalife while to them by looking at this. This looks like a college campus as you asked me to see so I give it a thumbs up how is going to be in organizable honestly with the great employee parents are coming up with this year I think we'll be just fine let's go check in with Jamie and see what policy does it come up with the reason we decided to start this club us because we wanted to help people find a community where they can show their interests and love Kpop without feeling judged can you explain what K-pop dance does so we like to do is that money artists do their own dance choreography to and so we like to practice those as well as I don't own little twist to it we sometimes get together just talked about our interest in K-pop like when it comes to Beauty fashion or makeup to have about K-pop and their fans is that were only attracted them because of their good looks and they also has like why do you listen to them if you don't understand what they're saying kind of silly because we aren't attracted to them for their loads it's the message that they say in their music and we understand because of the subtitles that they put in their music videos why should people join this club so once you answer you get scraped bonds with them over the same topic as well as like learn more about K-pop itself have you guys are college apps yet they have what I'm having trouble filling up the admissions profile and I don't even know where they're due who you look it up with a bat mitzvah Hernandez the college counselor she's an expert leading Us in the right direction Nepali parents will come to the college minutes great to have you back this year so some updates that are happening we have eight more weeks until the application deadline is happening faster just opened the Cal State application just opened up and you're able to submit yours UC application starting November 1st so we got a lot of work since happening come to the cause Center need to work on Khan Academy to fill out any of your patient, please make sure you're checking out the event page on the the website under the College Center that's where all the colleges are listed at they won't be attending our school or any work stuff that we're having thank you for visiting the College Center again hope to see you next month everything that miss Fernandez just said is going to be a big especially with college apps around the corner special guest when is from Instagram and the other one is a poly alumni who actually works at Pandora and today they're going to walk us through the process of reaching the careers how many weeks until I am a polygon I went to UC Berkeley and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering and computer science now I am a software engineer at Pandora also went to Berkeley and I'm currently working at Facebook specifically on Instagram I need to pursue a career in computer science me to be something that I couldn't see or that I couldn't be but that it was possible for me because my teachers encouraged me to do that and they serve fenestration that anything was possible what are some high school tips you have for students who want to go into computer science that I would like to share for anyone regardless of what major you're pursuing is for you to take on leadership positions in high school and having a good network will you have strong relationships with people will open up a lot of opportunities for you in the future when you start looking for full-time opportunities what are you trying to accomplish with these Workshop vision for our works as is to help more students feel comfortable and feel supported as their transition from high-school to college and hopes that they also discontinue do this for Generations that come we hope that be not in there first and second year of college score between computer science land an internship in the tech industry we highly encourage anyone who is interested to apply or reach out to us so we can share any advice or resources regardless of what major you're pursuing or more than happy to help ensure advice that has helped us along the way and if you would like to learn more at you can visit our website it's www.
