  1. Students will be assigned one of the thirteen main Greek gods. 
  2. Today's focus will be the research component. They should read the texts provided to gather knowledge about their assigned god.
  3. Then, groups should come up with 4 questions they think are important to know about their god and re-read the texts with the purpose of answering these questions.
  4. Following the re-reading, groups should take Cornell Notes in their journals using the questions and answers they came up with

On each of the red strips, they should write a prepositional phrase. The object of this activity is to “marry” their red strips with someone else's yellow strip and vice versa. This will allow students to seehow prepositional phrases are never complete sentences and always need to be paired with complete sentences that include a subject and verb.
