About ASB

The Associated Student Body (ASB) at John H. Francis Polytechnic High School is a student-led organization dedicated to representing the voices of the student body, promoting school spirit, and building a strong, inclusive campus culture. ASB plans and coordinates a wide range of events and activities—from rallies and dances to community service projects and spirit weeks—that bring our students together and celebrate what it means to be a Parrot.

Through leadership, service, and collaboration, ASB empowers students to make a positive impact on campus while gaining real-world experience in organization, communication, and civic engagement. Whether it's planning Homecoming, leading lunchtime events, or advocating for student needs, ASB is committed to making every student feel seen, heard, and connected.

Our purpose is to represent the student body, promote school spirit, and cultivate a positive, inclusive environment through leadership, service, and collaboration. We are an organization that works with teachers and staff, community members and students, led by students.

Our mission is to empower student leaders to serve our diverse campus community by planning meaningful events, encouraging student involvement, and fostering a culture of respect, unity, and pride at John H Francis Polytechnic High School.

We envision a vibrant and connected school community where every student feels heard, valued, and inspired to participate - driven by student leadership that reflects excellence, integrity, and Poly Pride.
