Any student who needs a work permit during spring break can go to the Work Experience Education Office located at the LAUSD Beaudry Central Office (333 South Beaudry Avenue, 25th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90017) - this includes all private and charter school students. The Work Experience Office will process LAUSD student work permits from March 21 to March 28, 2016. Some private and charter schools have different spring break schedules and the office will accommodate those requests. The office hours are 8:00 am to 4:45 pm.
The work permits issued by the downtown Work Experience Office will be temporary and will expire April 11, 2016; the school will issue another permanent one once the student returns from spring break. Students need to bring a completed work permit application (Form B1-1 See link below), current school ID with birth date on it (if the ID does not have a birth date, the student will also need to bring proof of birth date).
