Vision/ Mission
Sports Academy is dedicated to providing students with educational and vocational experiences in the fields of athletic training, sports administration, wellness, and fitness.
o Furthers students' academic interest and increase exposure to health and recreation-related professions
o Sports Academy is committed to academic excellence, personal development and career fulfillment for the student who desires to be employed in the sports world beyond the court or field.
o Sport Academy combines core academic courses in English, social studies, mathematics and science with a specialized offering of electives related to academic excellence, personal development, career development, and service learning.
o Career Training with high rigor and preparation for Post-Graduate Study in:

Create exposure to the changing venues related to areas of sport and health.
A class is created which is practical and relevant to current trends.
Relationships established with the community and business.
Measures and an evaluation process are established.
Students create and design various plans and programs.
Examination and practical evaluations developed.
Success Criteria
(Outcome Goals)
Plan, organize, and execute a community event for sports and fitness, such as a Health Fair.
Successfully complete an oral presentation on one discipline within the SPORT program.
Create and administer an exercise prescription for a given population.
Demonstrate proficiency in all courses within their sports pathway.
