Just wanted to pass on the passing of my mom Susan Faulkner.
Susan passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on July 26, 2012. She was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on March 18, 1949. Susan spent her teenage years in Canoga Park, Ca. where she graduated from John H Francis Polytechnic High School in 1967. She then went on to nursing school and became a LVN. Susan then moved to Topaz Ranch Estates, NV in 1984. She was a LPN at Cottonwood Care Center in the Gardnerville Ranchos. Susan was also a firefighter/EMT in the Topaz Ranch Estates Volunteer Fire Department from 1987 to 1993.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Sterling Faulkner, brother and sisters and her granddaughter Ashlee Phipps.
Susan is survived by her sister Patricia Jensen, Sioux Falls, SD.; daughters, Cyndi Farmer, Pear Blossom, CA.; Kathie Phipps, Fallon, NV.; Karen Carlson, Reno, Nv; and Jamie Lowry, Dayton, NV.; son, Chris Staugaard, Dayton, NV.; Susan is also survived by her 14 grandchildren.
