Per 1 Honors/AP Lang Quarter 2 Assignments

Today on 12/16:

1)  We took MC Final Test (yes it counts)

2)  We discussed Freakonomics very briefly and RETURNED book

3)  Winter Assignment was discussed and passed out.

Hi Kids!  What a weird day, eh?  If we get to go back to school tomorrow, let's do the following:  P.S.  I have graded papers, etc. all day so I will not be looking at anymore after this moment 3:35 p.m.  See you tomorrow hopefully.  

 

Per 1 - Let's just have our MC test and then have a party....IF YOU GET THIS MESSAGE - Call a buddy from class and let's have snacks, etc.  Life's too short!  :)

 

Per 2 - We have to complete computer assessments for Smarter Balanced tomorrow. We are losing computers Thursday to another class.  You must be done with project on your own or send to me ASAP.  I have been editing non stop since last night and as of 3:00 had finished all submissions.  Since I worked on these all day, I will not be checking them tonight.  Come to class with as much done as you can.  

 

Per 3 - I have also edited ALL of your papers in Google Docs - Please make your own changes and be ready to turn in essays tomorrow.

Attached, please find the information you need in order to produce your Works Cited Page.  Thanks to all who have subscribed to the website so you can get updated information!  Good luck!  I know you can get this all done!  

Reminder:  See previous entry for Works Cited help.  ALSO....please remember to use the slow paper rater to get originality score.   Karen, if you see this, run your paper thru the slow version of paper rater, not the fastest way.  :)

 

 

For any of you going crazy with paper rater, you may have to send 5-6 pages through by itself and then send the last pages together.  Both times you should submit the works cited page.  Bottom line is that it may take 2 submissions - you still want to get originality percentage and get grammar fixed.  :)  Good Luck!
