BOOKSELLER'S DAY - (Your oral book report is due)

Today on 4/3:

1. Assignment # 9 collected. 2. SSR. 3. Classwork: Crucible - Dialogue handout. Completed and turned in to class. (May still turn in on Monday if not done).

HW = BOOK REPORT! IT'S DUE ON MONDAY - BE READY TO PRESENT! I do not accept late work, but because it is a HUGE project, I will let you present for only 50% credit on Tuesday if you forget to do it on Monday. Some points are better than NO points. ALSO - Get your Progress Report signed.

HW Stamped. RWNB (Journal: Have you ever told a lie? Did you get caught? Did the lie get blown out of proportion? Explain! 1/2 page. Finished reading the rest of Act 1 to page 51. Notes were stamped in class.

HW = Summarize ALL of Act I - The Crucible in just a few sentences. Write down questions you have - Cornell note style. Work on book report!

Mixed up schedule today....so, we only completed and stamped notes for Act 1, pgs. 15-20.

HW = Create sentences with the words from The Crucible - only the sentences have to be written to relate to the play. For example - "ordinance" - There were a lot of ordinances in Puritan society.

Groups completed pgs. 21-34 and received stamps for The Crucible.

Groups worked on Cornell notes for pgs. 8-15 of the Crucible. Notes were stamped. Groups then read pgs. 15-20 and began notes.

HW = Pg. 89 of textbook - Choose #1 - Squanto's Diary: "Imagine that you are Squanto. Write a diary entry (1/2 page!) that reveals why you helpd the Pilgrims and chose to live with them.
