2. Created a chart of what made the essay with a score of 4 better than the 3
3. Reviewed the actual CAHSEE rubric and how it related to our checklist (writing the checklist number of each item next to the bullet where it belonged).
4. Got the homework - with the rubric, circle the bullet under the score you feel your essay deserves, for all six bullets. Then, write WHY you deserved that score (on a separate sheet of paper), and HOW you could IMPROVE that aspect of the essay.
