1. Squanto's Diary: Imagine that you are Squanto. Write a diary entry that reveals why you helped the Pilgrims and chose to live with them. Focus on his motivation.

2. If you could speak with one of the Pilgrims or Native Americans you have read about, what would you ask that person? Write 5 interview questions that you might ask William Bradford, Samoset, or another person that you create. Then write the answers that the person might give. Focus on characters' roles.
