HW = Read EJ chps. 3 & 4 by 1/30.  Study for Simon's Saga test on MONDAY.  Prepare 5 index cards based on Lit Circle Handout for Friday.  (Choose 2 quotes from chp 4, (2 quotes) from chp 3 and one from either chp 1 or 2.  BE SURE THEY ARE NOT SUMMARIES of the quote on the back of the card.  They should be ANALYSIS!

1)  Journal about Enrique's Journey.  Refer to page 44 of the book.  Write a 1 page letter of advice that you would give Enrique based on chapter of the book.  Not collected, but keep it to turn in at a later date.

 

2)  Springboard - began the Yezierska story pg. 16 (most students only read chunk 1).
