HW = Finish Act 10 + Vocab Handout:  **Remember, the vocab words are defined on the "Glossary Page" at the back of Persepolis (prob in your second section).  You can use those for the synonyms.  When you write your "analysis of Marjane's childhood" use 4 of the vocab words.  On the other side of this handout is a word web.  You are to complete the word web for 6 words total.  The handwritten directions say to write it out on the back, obviously no room, so attach another sheet of paper to it.

***Okay Seniors, here's the info you really want to know:

Per 1 tomorrow is from 8:05 to 10:05 a.m.  If you do not have a period one class, you should show up at 10:05 for period 2.  Lunch is at regular time and period 3 and 4 start at regular times too.

For next week:

You will receive a schedule prob tomorrow....however, the bottom line is this.  CST's are taking place from Monday thru Thursday.  Classes meet on different days in the afternoon and if you don't have a class, you may stay home.    If you have a class, roll will be taken, so you must be careful regarding your absences. Again, roll will be taken.  

 ALSO, EACH DAY THERE ARE ACTIVITIES GOING ON.

Monday 8:05 to Lunch = Senior Information/Contracts/Reminders and Fashion Show
Tuesday 8:05 to Lunch = Movies, begin voice recording a message for graduation

As for class today on 4/17:  We stamped journal (from yesterday's documentary) and we read and began annotating a new article called "Supreme Court to Rule...."  (Link attached for article)  and located Controlling Ideas for article and labelled them at the bottom as "summary" of article.
