Hello Students:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You've finished CST Testing!!! I'm so proud of all you for completing another educational milestone!

Now, let's turn our attention back to: 1) the class assignments you should be completing over the next couple of weeks and 2) you business plan presentations

Remember, Business Plan presentations are scheduled for Thursday, June 7th and Friday, June 8th, 2012. Stay focused on your business idea which will be presented to me (and your classmates) in hopes of receiving start-up money to start your business.

Again, I am looking forward to returning on Monday, June 4th, 2012 and I'll be happy to assist you in the final stages of your project. HOWEVER, you all should be putting forth maximum effort to insure that you are participating fully in the process!

Have a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend and take the time to remember why you are receiving a day off from school. As a past history teacher, Mr. Student can share more details about this very important day in our lives. Briefly, Memorial Day was originally intended to commemorate the soldiers who lost their lives serving in American Civil War. Now, we honor all soldiers from any war who lost their lives serving in the military. While you're enjoying your barbeque, remember someone you know or someone a family member knows or someone a friend knows who died in the line of duty for the United States of America...

Hello Students:

Thank you so much for continuing to focus on your assignments and move diligently towards completing your Business Plan presentations scheduled for Thursday, June 7th and Friday, June 8th, 2012. I am very proud of your progress during my unanticipated absence.

I realize that throughout the last few weeks you have all been dealing with a variety of technology challenges and I appreciate your patience as the technicians (and Mr. Student) continue to do their best to insure that you are provided with a rigorous and interesting learning experience.

In light of the fact that CST testing is in full swing this week, please take the time during the adjusted schedule to complete previous assignments, collaborate with teammates, and clarify instructions with Mr. Student.

I am looking forward to my return on Monday, June 4th, 2012 and participating in your Business Plan Investor Presentations! REMEMBER the keys to success: 1) knowledge & skills; 2) motivation (active choice, persistence, mental effort); and 3) remove obstacles!
