Steps to get a Work Permit

• Step 1 – Make sure you Qualify….

Behavior, Attendance and Grades will be reviewed

• Step 2 – Get a BLANK work permit (HERE)
• Step 3 – Go Job Hunting

Where to start?

   1. Any opportunities posted on Schoology can also be found HERE.

   2. Ask friends if there are openings at their jobs

   3. APPLY – big retailers will have application ONLINE. Smaller businesses – you may still be able to walk-in and ask.

   4. Interview (If Needed)

• Step 4 – Fill out Work Permit Form

All signatures MUST be “wet” – cannot be stamped or emailed/printed.  “Wet” means they signed it IN-PERSON.

• Step 5 – Turn in completed form to Poly's Work Permit Office in Room 95

   1. Please allow up to 48 hours (2 school days to process)
