John H Francis Polytechnic High School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

John H. Francis Polytechnic High School will provide a personalized educational experience that supports each student to achieve college and/or career readiness upon graduation

Mission

John H. Francis Polytechnic High School will:
  • Maintain high expectations and provide rigorous, standards-based, and real world learning opportunities for all students.
  • Provide a safe, personalized, and small-school learning environment for all students.
  • Foster a culture, which builds the capacity of faculty and staff to serve all students. 
  • Provide community-based resources to students and parents with the objective of mitigating obstacles to student learning.
  • Create a culture where stakeholders are empowered and actively engaged to affect change within the school and community.
 

All Poly students are expected to be:

1. Critical Thinkers who:

a. Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others. (adapted from Math Practice Standards)

a. Follow Poly’s 4 For Life to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be on Time.

b. Demonstrate knowledge of social, political, and economic issues at the local, national and global level.

c. Engage in community service, clubs, or activities that enrich the school or community.

3. Effective Communicators who:
